My subject line kind of sums it up.

There has to have been conversation among players about what it would take to scratch-build some equipment to original design. Obviously it's a large undertaking given the need for many small castings, so it looks/smells like a multi-organization collaboration kind-of-a-thing.

How much desire (versus need) is there for a few more boxcars, or gons, or.... Name your equipment...
