The railroad has made an arrangement with Roger Hogan to take drone footage of the 0Y rotary event.
As you are aware he has substantial experience with taking drone footage of the C&TS.
He knows where and how to use the drone to stay out of the photoline shots and where he can get close to the rotary where it is not visible from the road (ie Hamilton point and Coxo curve).
He will be making an hour long DVD of drone stills and video footage that will be given at no cost to each of the participants in the event.
This footage will not be for sale commercially nor will he be posting it on youtube.
Space will be limited on the motor coaches and it will be necessary to get on and off the bus as quickly as can be done safely.
In the interest of making the event successful and enjoyable for all the participants I recommend that you do not plan on bringing a drone with you.
