This was as of the beginning of November Puffing Billy Climax This is the Puffing Billy Railway in the Dandenong Ranges about 1 hour by electric train from Melbourne, Australia. Gauge is 2'6' (762 mm). They have also just finished the re-gauging and restoration of an ex South African Railways NGG16 garratt, to go with a Beyer Peacock garratt they already have that used to originally work the line.

Can highly recommend a visit and ride - yes it is a tourist railway, but the engine have to work hard in the temperate rain forest, and as you can hear, sound reverb is great.
