Well thanks guys. Didn't learn much about log loading at Coxo but I do apppreciate the tails about the engine travails. Perhaps the siding was put there for that purpose especially in the early days when there would have been trains and helpers on a much more frequent basis going both ways. (c-16 days)
I will have to look through the books and see if I can find the references to the log loading activities there.
