All these are right . They story I heard is the short siding was also used by the eastbound passenger to go in the hole for descending westbound freights that were atop Cumbres .It also had a snowshed at the east end of the siding at one time , one of at least four on the east side.
I think the siding was removed in 1953 . Coxo was/is a favorite place for trains to stop and get steam and water up in the boilers before a final assault on the hill ,since the grade was level there .
