This logging camp is not recorded in Johnston's Thunder in the Mountains, nor in Don Devere's map in the book. My guess it was used at the end of logging and no one had gone out here to check on it.
Here's a partially burned tie I found laying at the camp:

Here's a pile of spikes left behind...

Across from the spur into the logging camp was this piece of metal pipe about 6-8 inches in diameter and about 8-10 feet long. lt looked like it might have been the type of pipe used for a culvert.

Next to it was a piece of wire rope with this piece of metal attached to the end:

I have no idea what this would have been used for...
