Re: One last trek to the Madera Sugar Pine Grades

Here's a photo walking up the spur and looking northwest:

A little further up, here's a photo looking southeast back down the grade:

About 500 feet in, I came to the site of a logging camp:

We are looking north. There appears to have been a couple of sidings here and possibly a grade heading northeast back to the "mainline" One spur appears to go to the left almost to the top of the ridge line. Another spur is in the center of the picture behind the trees and ended in a deep cut.

There were several artifacts present:

A whole bunch of thick wire rope...

The main area of the camp with a long piece of pipe in the middle of the photograph:

There was also a large piece of corrugated metal that I forgot to photograph.
