Until c1959 the turn off to Como was where 9746 is marked on US 285. Joined the old Hwy 8 grade into Como. Hwy 8 can be seen exiting to the south near 33. Wonder why the map does not show the wye..

If you walk the ground the grade makes perfect sense.. It would have been a lot of work to come across Park Gulch in a straight line.
