We have a big steel (3ft long) wedge that was forged long ago by the Greek gods that we simple wedge into the spokes of the driver and drag the engine with our Case loader to basically the correct orientation. Fine adjustments are made by leaving the wedges loose and rotating the pins to various quarters until they line up. Once together, assuming the tram is correct, simply adjust the wedges and your done. About a day/day and a halfs work if everything is machined correctly.
