Olaf I like your framing on that first shot. Here is my contribution from 1984. Shot this with a Pentax 6x7 and this was scanned by someone for me from an 8x10 machine processed print. At one time I had a 16x20 of the shot, and when I did some remodeling here the contractor saw it in a closet, and said wow that needs to be hanging up somewhere. Since he had done me some favors on the addition, I gave him the framed picture. I should dig up my slides from the 1977 trip and see what I have here. Tons of scanning to do for that trip. There were mainline Garratts out of George as well as the branch to Knysna, so I have a feeling we didn't do as much on this line along the ocean in favor of the GMAM on Montague Pass nearby.
