RGS #20 was found to weigh several thousand pounds more than expected when weighed while on the truck back to CRRM, and she wasn't even complete!
With engine crews often paid according to weight on drivers, I wonder if the F&CC fudged the weight figures of their engines to save money, and succeeding owners just copied those figures without ever confirming them.
