The final train ran in darkness late Sunday night / early Monday morning. A few photographers with better self discipline than me caught it at daybreak, just as it was heading into the plant for the last time. As for me, well, I refuse to acknowledge there are two 5 o'clocks in a day. However, we had a beautiful day on Sunday to catch the entire morning run and the eastward (empty) movement of the afternoon trip. Having never actually railfanned it before, I was sort of learning in real time how things worked, so maybe not my best ever.
