Dave Dye's D&RGW car roster site has some pictures of water car 0470's whereabouts before being restored.

It was originally stored on the old north Durango yard spurs. The D&S was storing a bunch of unused freight and MOW equipment on these two spurs between 8th street and 11th street. The City of Durango wanted to build a road and parking spaces that went behind Krogers Ace Hardware so the D&S auctioned off most of the equipment on the spurs except for a select few and including 0470, pulled up the rails and sold the land. I don't have an exact date of when this happened but looking on google earth and using the historical imagery feature it looks like the spurs were intact and had cars on them as of September of 2002, as of October of 2005, the cars had been moved off and the track possibly could have been removed, but the roadbed was still visible, and as of August of 2011 the area had already become parking spaces.
I don't know about 0469's whereabouts before getting abandoned up in Silverton, but I'd assume it was taken up with the string of gondolas rotting away up there unless someone else here knows..?
