Below is a shot of me hand painting the numerals on 20s number plate. This is how her number plate looked from the late 30s till the 1947 Rocky Club trip. The rocky club painted all the raised surfaces white. 20 will be finished in her 1944 to early 1947 appearance. This includes her one off skinny sunrise herald, the defense supplies stencil, and a black jacket.
Now for some fun pictures. During the Museums 60th anniversary weekend we had 20,346, and 318 outside the shop for photos.
At the end of the day we staged 4 engines at the shop for a photo op. These are from Saturday. We had a parade of locomotives so 346 and 491 were hot. 491 pulled a train all day while 346 only ran for the parade but was kept hot at he shop. All 3 photos are from my phone so they are a little fuzzy. Come next year we can say all 4 have run at the museum.
