I sent Jeff a link to his photos that you and I posted above; he enjoyed seeing them on the NGDF, and said we could post others if/when we found time. Here's a second one of Der Schnoz den Teufel, but IMHO not nearly as spectacular as the one above:
At first glance I thought this one might be at the station below The Nose, but according to Jeff's captions it was taken along the 3-foot gauge Ferrocarrill Huancayo y Huancavlica in Peru several years earlier:
Speaking of spectacular — this rival to the high bridge on the Georgianatown Loop-de-Loop is located just over 14,000 feet up on the trans-Andean route in Argentina:
Ernie apparently accompanied Jeff on a trip to Mexico in 1968; did you join them as well? This shot was taken in Chihuahua:
