Thanks for reminding me that he sent along a bunch of photos last year, from which I got sidetracked when our friend Ernie passed away.
Jeff must have traveled almost as much as you did, searching for steam after the D&RGW stopped running over Cumbres, as some of what he sent looks like they were taken in South Africa, some looks like maybe Cuba, and some is definitely from Mexico. He didn't specifically give me permission to post any of them, so I'll share just this especially spectacular one:
