You are right. For a 200 dollar donation we were allowed to ride the rotary train (for sure worth every penny). Dick Bell rode the train from Chama to Antonito. I chased from Chama to Cumbres, rode the train to Osier and "worked" as fireman trainee on 463 Osier to Antonito. There were several opportunities to get off the train - repositioning the rotary at Cumbres, a photo runby at Cascade trestle, lunch and switching moves at Osier, replacing a brake hose at Phantom Curve, walking thru the Mud Tunnel, and taking water at Sublette. Keep watching-----maybe the C&TS will offer another opportunity to join a rotary ferry move when the rotary returns to Chama in the fall.
