Hello Again,
The map a few months ago hit 30k views, I wanted to say thanks to all who've viewed it, but things have been busy in my world and I never got around to it. As of now though I have some cool changes to highlight. The map has a habit of finding ways for more improvements even when I think there's no more to do, which is probably a good thing.
Corkscrew Gulch, Animas Forks, and Albany have seen new realignments. They look a lot more accurate to known photos we have of them now.
All known bridges and timetable stops have been consistently documented on the SRR and the SN, plus similar stuff on the Silverton Branch.
Tons of other small stuff I know I changed but I can hardly remember
The Parent post of this thread I've been going back and editing a ton as well to be a good introduction to these railroads for those who've not heard of them before. I also got all the new stuff into Google Earth, so
here's the KML file for that.
I can't speak much to it right now but the map has been used as a reference for something exciting I can't wait to share eventually when its ready.
As always, you can view the map online
here.
Thanks,
