I'm hoping this will be my final revision to the map, as usual, I've been making improvements mostly and added a little new content.
I've been looking for a lot of grammatical errors and have fixed quite a few, from one of the layer names to errors in line descriptions, etc.
The Durango Yard on the "D&SNG to Durango" Layer needed a lot of work, in the past when I changed a lot of the lines in the "D&RGW to Durango" layer I forgot some corresponded with the other lines in the D&S layer and recently I noticed how they were in the wrong position, so that's been fixed and the D&SNG to Durango layer connects properly with others.
A few minor issues have been fixed with the "D&SNG Silverton Layer", mostly rewriting confusing object and line descriptions that date back to May 2019.
The "Rio Grande Land" Office buildings have been added to the Durango Yard, and have a brief description and history of the "RGL" advertising campaign and improvement program.
During the thread about the Bell Limestone Quarry, I added an object at the site of the quarry and wrote a brief history of it, updated the spur to the quarry to have new info and renamed it to include D&RG(W) instead of just D&RG.
While this has been a feature for a while now, I never really mentioned here and only recently when I made a separate map description for the Google Earth KML has it been mentioned:
Certain mine trams and the Trestle at Porter are/look 3D when viewed in google earth. If its an areal tram (for example the King Mine tram) the line depicting the tram will be relative to the ground instead of sticking to it, making it appear in google earth that it's in the air between the two points.
And that's all. I'm hoping this will be the last update I make, I've shifted gears and have been focusing on a new railroad KML map I'm currently in the process of making. It will be made in a very similar fashion to this, and I hope to post it here and reveal what it is some time in the future when it's at a presentable state.
