ALCO also built the 101-class diesel-electrics for the White Pass. The first batch was numbered 101-107, two of which were destroyed in a fire. Bombardier (MLW - the Canadian ALCO subsidiary) built the last two batches, 108-110, and 111-114, the second of which the White Pass did not take delivery off. Only the 114 finally made its way to Skagway. The other three were purchased by the U.S. Gypsum operation. The 113 was destroyed in a tragic fatal accident.
