Sean Jackson, the D&S car shop manager, regularly visits this forum and can provide better comment and details. The D&S annual magazine has a special section this summer on the work being done on the engines and rolling stock.

The D&S is installing new roller bearing trucks. My understanding is they will have replica journal box covers so you will not see the roller bearings. If that is not correct, I am sure Sean will set us straight.
