If everything that HAS been operational gets through the 1,472s, and Climax #6 is finished this year, Cass could potentially have more than 5:

- Shay #2,
- Shay #4
- Shay #5
- Western Maryland "Big 6" Shay #6
- Shay #11
- Heisler #6 (3-trucker)
- Climax #6 (3-trucker)

Beyond that, they also have Climax #3 (2-trucker), which needs a 1,472 SDI, and the BC&G #4 (2-8-0), which was brought to Cass specifically for service on the Durbin line. So, there are potentially 9 locomotives at Cass which could be running over the next few years.
