Gee, someone who hides behind a fake name apparently dislikes me. That’s OK, no problem.
The log cars in question were never moved from the Airport to Allaire and were reportedly cut up on the spot by I assume the airport owners. This was confirmed, when the question came up, by talking to those who were there at the time. Photos backed up the NJMT position. You may want to get your facts straight before making such a public claim and making yourself look bad.
If I recall correctly Dr Cox had a buyer for the trucks and wanted them returned in the mid 2000’s. With a bit of research we were able to prove ownership of the trucks we had which dated back to the 1950s. Sounds like you were the disappointed buyer. Sorry, but it was all cut up by someone at the airport, I would guess in the early 1970s.
As to my actions as chairman of the board, I ran the place like a business, as it should be. Some people did not like that approach so myself and another key local business leader left. And now look at where it is today.
