I saw some 012 Pacifics at Norddeich in summer 1971 and also visited the Rheine terminal, with a very pregnant wife in our 1954 domestic VW, with mechanical brakes, no synchromesh and no safety glass, bought for 350 Marks, about $100 at that time.
