Be there in September, so unless it has been an extraordinary year, there won't be a ski train!
I was thinking a long layover time might be handy in case of train delays. The backup might have to be a taxi the 86 miles back to Denver? (just joking).
Of course if we get really desperate (or worried), as we have a hire car and there is 2 of us, one could drive the car to Granby with the other catching the train and reverse for the trip home!
All this was just to maximise some train travel and a trip thru the tunnel might be cool to talk about, certainly won't be much to see!
