A hauled train was photographed from an overbridge out along the line. Since it was a hard pull at MCS, both the Enginedriver and his Mate had put their feet up and were reading their respective sections of the local newspaper. This was in the days of bellowing 567's at 11mph, and before the introduction of the Vigilance Device.
Both the loco number complete with Train Number plus time/date appeared in some Railway Enthusiast's publication, that just happened to be on a magazine rack in full view of the Area Traffic Manager, who promptly brought it to the Locomotive Supervisor's gaze. Said Crew found a Blister in the notice rack in the days following, and future Enginedriver trainee's were shown the offending photo and admonished not to do the same.
