Why is Columbian and Honduras info so rare?

Are there any recent Jane's World Railway publication in this century? The newest I knew of was 1992. Why is there so little know of the 3' miles in Colombia? And who know anything about the present status of the Vaccaro RY of Standard Fruit Co. (Now Dole) that was at La Ceiba?
The 1992 directory called the Vaccaro Ry the Honduras National Ry and said it had 277 KM of 914mm gage track. That is 173 miles that have disappeared. All I hear is that motor cars are used to run a local trolley service throughout La Ceiba. Their engine #39 was was a Shay (3193) from Rockhill Furance PA (ak-EBT) and was up for the taking in mid-1960s. What ever happened to the Shay?
