We of course did not, and would not remove anything, but others without moral values could easily remove bits and pieces. Bldrs plates are in glass cases now off all 3 K-28's. I assume the rest were lifted long time ago. Parts were labled in the 476, i.e. throttle, johnson bar, etc. A lot of the labels had fallen off as they were stuck on with masking tape. 476 must've had her fire dropped and backed in. Cinders, oil, coal in fire-box etc. all were present. I too had to point out details and tell info to my family as well as others.
