Gary, thanks for the benefit of your analysis. RGRPC has discussed the possibility of using an IRA arrangement as a way to offer boomer railroaders an attractive alternative to Railroad Retirement. How does length of service under RRR affect the results of the analysis? The most obvious example is if you have been contributing to Tier II for some years, but don't have the minimum years in to qualifty for Tier II benefits.
