My understanding (from talking with RGRPC employees) is that they paid into RR retirement, were dropped from it by the RRB and NO, they didn't get their money back and NO, they won't get the RR benefits later, either. They also are not getting paid what they are worth (my opinion), and they still don't have medical insurance (their statement). This in spite of the fact that the highest mucky-muck of all in the RGRPC is an insurance tycoon of sorts.
If anybody on the RGRPC board wants to try to give a real no-bullshit answer to the question amd tells it like it is, I'm all ears, and if I'm wrong I'll say so.
