Radar,
I already use the Flag symbol to locate the newest unread posts, BUT that Flag maybe anywhere depending on where the poster was replying to, in the middle somewhere maybe, or worse, several scattered throughout, not always in a row at the bottom. And for purposes in relation to a 100+ post thread, especially one worth following closely, the Flag is useless without a lot of scrolling.
A number of other boards I use have the first unread post button, something sorely needed here.
