Hello, Urias -
I obviously have no clue as to what John Meixel and David Tomkins said in their private messages, but I can say that I had a marvelous visit with David (aka 'Como' here on the NGDF) ten days ago when he very graciously provided a tour of the roundhouse to myself and three railfan friends from Denver. I stayed in David's hotel on 08/22, and he gave me a tour of the restored Como depot before I headed to Chama the following day. IMHO, the DSP&P restorations in Como are VERY MUCH worth a visit, especially as it would require a detour on Highway 285 through South Park, which is FAR more scenic than the endless housing tracts and strip malls along I-25 from Pueblo (aka Pee-eblow) to Denver. Enjoy your Visit!!
