Below is the entrance to the roundhouse area from the public road. The parking lot will be on the right.




Below is the turntable area where we added three new radial tracks. On the far left is the "oops" track that is opposite bay #5 holding locomotive #4. It is used to catch Kate if she goes off the turntable. In the foreground is a track opposite bay #2. It will be further extended to hold additional cars/equipment. On the right the track to bay #6 is being constructed. It will hold the handcar, speeder, and the chassis for boxcar #608.




Below is a closer view of the work on the track for bay #6. As you can see we had to dig holes for the ties so the rail would be at the correct vertical height. We found the original ties as we dug the holes.




Below you can see roundhouse bays 5 and 6.
