Re: C&S Gondola #4319 arrives in Como

We first "discovered" the gon in about 2010ish, and I recognized it as (possibly) the one I had ridden in when there was a sort of short railroad running above Central City, back in the 70's. I have a pic with me and the locomotive somewhere, apparently lost now, when I was a boy. I visited a few years ago and it had missing parts including a coupler knuckle, and had been surrounded by a make-shift chain-link fence. I don't feel that the gon, nor the locomotives, are truly appreciated by "visitors" to BH and CC. Any historical value those two cities had has been way overshadowed by the massive casinos.
