Almost exactly 20 years ago in fact. That WSM 460 was bought new by Mike Strovrapolis out in Indiana. Can't remember the name of the shop but the owner's last name was Thomas. I got it in a trade deal and Bob sold it in the Chama shop. Bob sold about 50 locomotives over the years for me. Miss him, Sylvia and the shop. WSM made a nice little locomotive. Seems like you go a long time without ever seeing one for sale then they come out of the woodwork for a while.
This is my HOn3 version pulling plow duty on the RGS. It is just outside of Mancos and running into a hint of the much deeper snow on Lizard Head. Another one of it and the 451 sitting in Durango both with big plows. I should get with it asnd finish my 460. Needs weathering and some detailing.
