First a question. Did the 473 have the box headlight the entire time that it was in bumblebee colors? The box headlight is REALLY ugly, even if historically correct. On the other hand, the rest of the paint job is....well...interesting in a nostalgic sort of way. And the diamond stack is certainly real DRGW. If there is historic precedent for the bumblebee with a real headlight, that would really appeal to me as a keeper for a year or so. But with the box headlight.....back to black as soon as the September photo trip is over. But thanks D&S for giving us a bunch of fun.
Maybe next year will be green boiler year.
