Thank you Mr Day. I wondered as much but was not sure and did not have details. Thank you for the great examples.
Unfortunately this gives me more questions. When these bridges were replaced and removed for reuse, did they already have sites for them in mind and planned out? Also, were the pieces shipped to Alamosa to wait and then be transloaded to the NG for futher delivery and placement? I realize that this was no big deal to the railroad as this was very regular business for them but it am pondering all of the logistics and means needed for this.
