IMHO, green & black look good together, Rich –

Like the K-37s when new and #489 in 2010 – BUT #19's color is not a 'scheme' – it's a conspiracy!   IMHO, it's WAY too green -

IIRC, the authentic D&RGW Moffat Green – the 'Birthday Suits' of the K-37s – is what's on the tender of #473 in this 1968 shot by Ernie Robart:

Please note that the above photo was taken late in the afternoon, so the color may not be exactly the same as in mid-day light.  Note also that D&RGW #473 had been renumbered as Union Pacific #478 for the Hollyweird film 'Botch Casually and the Some-Dunce Kid', or something to that effect.
