Per the usual practice in those days, at Antonito helper #498 was moved back in the train to just a few cars ahead of the kibutz, and road engine #493 led the way from there to Cumbres Pass (see second photo on [
ngdiscussion.net]). My trusty Triumph TR-4 "Jeep" got me in to Osier ahead of the train, where I was able to get several more shots (most of them even fuzzier than the one above of the Antonito coal loader). See [
