This plow has been stated as delivered as DL&G in Best's book and other places. There are two very good pictures of it lettered as Union Pacific with no visible number. One is in Ferrell's South Park book. The 064 fits in perfectly with the numbering of the other UP rotaries. Same outfit. It was delivered with a high body and obviously wrecked or rebuilt before the Alpine snow trials where it had the high body with tapered sides similar to the RGS plows. then it was rebuilt to the low body and the higher round roof over the pilot cabin. It appears that it kept the same tender with a vertical rivet pattern. After the Como RH fire it was rebuilt with the last body having the more square roof over the pilot compartment and the slope back tender.
