This is a photo of LTRy&TCo #4/SPNG #130 after its new John Hammond replacement door being applied at the NCNGRR museum in 2011. The other side of the car is still in its SPNG livery. The roof was also replaced with its original Murphy style roof with the underlying metal roof. The original rear door hardware was still on the car and a new sliding door was applied. The trucks are from the forty built 1917 Ogden flat car series cars of which four ended up at Universal Studios in 1955 along with our F&CC boxcar #507/NCO #26/SPNG #26. Climax coupler were also applied to this car.
It was fun seeing LTRy&TCo boxcar #7/SPNG 17 operating at Laws. John Christensen
