Mike....you sure that isn't the 345th (Air Apaches) bomb group, and the book is "Warpath Across the Pacific". I had never heard about parfrags until reading that. For those that do not know, they were dropped at low altitude, and had small parachuttes, which slowed them down and gave the bomber a chance to get further away before they exploded. As Michael said they flew low. These B-25's were used in many different forms, and I got to see a Marine one and Navy one at Urbana in April, but just didn't show them all in the clip I posted.
