The book is "Railroads of the Black Hills" by Mildred Fielder. Other than a couple of paperbacks by Rick Mills it is the only book on the Black Hills NG. It is only a fair introduction to the Black Hills and is not in depth and definatly not "definative". Unfortunately that book has discouraged some other writers from doing anything on the Black Hills. It is a shame as the Black Hills had some interesting operation.
