Here is another version of the Valuation Survey maps showing the area in question. This marked up copy was probably used by the D&RGW to record line changes and the sale of land deemed excess to the railroad. The CRRM Val maps show the final disposition of all the railroad grades and property, usually by a Quick Claim deed. The proposed large ice house would have been in this area and is dated 8,1913 and is not the ice house that survived into the 1940's across from the new station area. Gunnison and its railroads have been a fascination to me from early on.
