Reading the post again I see the REAL engine numbers at the top of the post. The water car special we chased was in the summer of 1966. It was 484 and two water cars. As I recall freight traffic was really light, and there was nothing much happening. My dad shot a work train on the Farmington line the day before the water train, but all his movies were double-exposed with some N&W. For some reason he didn't film the water train which we chased from Durango to Gato. Have some B&W around someplace, but after West posted all those nice color shots in winter-time, my stuff is pretty second rate!
