W462 was the tender from engine 462. It is interesting to see 2 water cars along. Perhaps it was a hot dry summer. The water cars were used to fill cisterns for section houses along the way although they also filled the cistern for Monero Tank rather regularly as the tank leaked badly and the well it was pumped from tended to get pumped dry quickly. I recall Jim Pearce told me there was usually one day a week that the water cars went east (Tuesday?).
