The 42 was sold when the collection in Alamosa was split up, the 42 went to Magic Mountain (Colo), outside of Golden, an ill-fated amusement park where it was fitted to operate as an oil-burner. It became part of Heritage Square when Magic Mountain bit the big one and sat next to the depot/restaurant for a few years.
It was then sold to Woodmoor Corporation and used as an advertising gimmick and moved outside their offices in Monument, Colo. From there it was moved back to the Denver area (but not back to Heritage Square and eventually ended up in Durango.
