Hi, Mal -
Ken was a close friend of my old Freedom Train buddy, 'U.P.' Joe Passentino, who also worked in the old unit shop at the CSRM. I was privileged to meet Ken several times while hanging out with Joe in Sacramento, and have a couple of slices of that pear-shaped rail that they had salvaged from the original C.P. line. IIRC, Ken was also a live-steam modeler, and had built an excellent 1.5" scale model of an S.P. cab-forward 4-8-8-2. I have a few pics of him (or his son?) running it in a Sacramento park hiding somewhere in the closet – probably in the same box as one of their
"Yeo & Joe" business cards.

'Yeo & Joe' were no more nefarious in the late twentieth century than
