315 led the parade out of Antonito for Opening Day, with 463 being dragged behind us. At Lava 315 stopped for a drink from the water tanker placed on the loop for us. Both engines took water at Sublet. Stopped for a bit to fix the hitch pin on 463, that was working it's way out. Made it to Osier a little later then desired. 315 ran light from Osier to Cumbres, to switch out the dinner train cars, and get ready for its return trip to Osier for prime rib, and a John Denver sound alike concert. After dinner, a really good evening run back, and some great night running after taking water at Sublet. Rolled into Antonito about 9:30 at night. Not a hiccup all day for the 122 year old 315.

This weekends Freight excursions on Sat. and Sun. should be rather grand.
