John, we ordered a length of 4" pipe, and necessary fittings to repair the pipe where it was leaking about 10' past the building. We plan to give another pumping attempt during session G at the end of Sept. Our first priority is getting the Bettendorf trucks reassembled if the wheelsets are ready and putting them back under the two finished frameless tankers.
I plan to bring two pumps this time which we are hooking up in series to boost water pressure to the pipe. When we were out there last week the river water has risen because of snow melt so if I had drafted water today, I would only need a 10' suction hose. Last year, I had 30' of suction hose out to reach deep water in the river.
